Ok, well maybe it doesn't all the time, but of all the people who got sick of it here and moved away for college or when college was over, it seems they're all slowly coming back. I always wondered what the appeal was to leave this area, I like it here most of the time, and it seems everyone has realized that the grass isn't always greener. Two of my and Steve's friends who took off for paradise in Florida (unrelated to one another) less than a year ago have come back recently and have apparently decided Florida's a shithole. Ben is moving home from Boston, not because it sucks, but because unlike me, he actually likes change, and he misses me and his few other friends still living in this area and wants to be closer to us again. My friend Ralphie from high school moved home from Oklahoma a few months ago and is now living with his best friend from high school (my ex, Ryan), so thus, it is happily ever after in this city for those of us who always wanted everyone to just come home again.
Now if I can only convince Dan, Jeffrey, and the rest of that crew, and of course Erin when she's done grad school :) then it will be allll good.
I missed Dracula's Ball last night. I'm a little sad about that. I haven't been gothing in forever, and I miss it terribly. I have so many vinyl things hanging in my closet just begging to be worn.
My face, particularly my nose, is terribly sunburned from being out on the bike for so many hours today. We did a poker run this morning/afternoon. It was my first, and it was lots of fun, go if you ever get the chance. Then we drove around to do some shopping and get dinner. My poor little nose, so red. It sucks.
Ok, I'm tired. Goodnight.
