Tali, Batangas
Azyet was absolutely right,
"Everybody needs a little time away."
I lifted my self-imposed exile long enough for this trip to Tali with the JMA Oldies. Tali is supposed to be a beach destination but because the weather can be quite unpredictable these days we decided to stick close to the poolside.
Not that this is the actual pool. Duh. Who would want to go swimming with a school of bread crazy Koi fish. Uhm.
These fishies can be found in Nuvali, Laguna where we had a seriously satisfying lunch c/o Brother's Burger. Dessert was exciting as we satisfied our inquisitive tongues with original ice cream flavors like Yakult, Lager Beer, and Wasabi. Wasabi won hands down.
This is Don. I think we are fortifying our friendship by gaining weight together. That's real friendship right there.
The drive to Tali was quite an adventure. We saw a couple on motorcycle sporting helmets with antennas. It made me wonder if it were meant to be that way so they can get better radio reception. Maybe, maybe not.
We arrived just in time for an afternoon swim and for a very competitive game of CRANIUM!
It made me feel super bobz because I couldn't spell Ecstasy backward. Oh, lowdhy.
BUT I did redeem myself by guessing what this is:
If you said, GUMMY BEAR then you are absolutely correct! It takes a very active imagination to see things such as this clearly.
See how we gloat over such triumphs. HA! You would think we just won the lottery in a Major Major way. (Ahihihi. I couldn't help it. I'm still on a Ms. Universe high.)
After a night of unmentionables, we all woke up to dark skies but felt more rested after sleeping more than we usually do during weekdays where acads and work get in the way of love affair with our respective beds.
But really, who am I kidding? I am a 24hour bum who have no right to complain like they do. My bed loves me, it knows I will never leave him/her/it. You and me, babe. How bout it?
