I Don't Mind Staying Out Late

Got back to Manila last Monday, August 2. The whole trip home was cray cray.
My seat was upgraded to business class which allowed me to enjoy the benefits of having a male flight attendant whose accent was yummeh and whose eyes were made for looking into mine, asking me if there was anything else I needed. Sigh. You. Only you.
And for that, I would like to thank Qatar Airways for the awesome flight home. Tengs! Buuuuuuuut an annoying taxi driver from financial hell burst my self-made bubble of delusions by charging me 35 frigging dollars for the ride home. KAKALOKA. Nonetheless, my reunion with this beautiful land of juicy coconuts, tanned fishermen, and sexy farmers will not be ruined so easily.

This week was poorly documented so you will just have to take my word that it was indeed lovely.
I got a visit from two of my beautiful friends, Bianca and JN, on Monday night. They were excited to receive my gifts from the first world no matter how meager they were. Tuesday night was extra ambitious because I left the house without a single peso but ended up having one of those crazy night courtesy of semi-sane friends.

My friends have not gracefully accepted my self-imposed alcohol ban but I'm pretty sure they'll come around. They are great like that.

Thursday was UP day! I looooooooove UP. Why es ette?
I saw Mikee, Aleli, Joseph, Judd, and etc etc. We basically spent the rainy afternoon playing Sporcle and eating. What else is new. I think food and chichi constitute the backbone of this friendship.

Aleli painted my nails with golden archs in honor of our love for McDo - where decent looking boys hang around.
But the bigger reason was so that I can brandish my hand for the store manager to see and reward me for my overfanatic Ronald love. I really wanted free food but no, my plan failed.

No one cared. :| CHE.

I think next week will be extra busy. I hope I get the courage to whip out my camera and document better this time regardless of the threat of muggers roaming the streets of my favorite metro. Wooooh!
