My Life in Bullet Form
It’s a whole new year and I’m feeling nostalgic. :)
Year 2007 was pretty awesome; sure it had its ups and downs but I can’t say it wasn’t fun. 2007 was eventful, to put it in simpler terms.. I graduated High School, I’m in my dream university now, I have the BEST block ever, I made new friends, I have loved, I’ve forgiven someone AND I got grounded for the first time EVER (memorable, sure, but I don’t want it to happen again). ;)
It’s not a routine of mine to make resolutions every year because I think it might limit me to what I should do, making sure I’d focus on the forsaken list of things. So, instead of making resolutions, I make a list of things that I can do for the year (mind you, these things can be carried over to the next year in case I fail to do it). It’s weird, I know but that’s how I roll. Hahaha :)
Things I will NEVER forget that happened last 2007:
- The seemingly never-ending graduation practices (HS, of course) :P
- Getting “SUSPENDED” from grad prac because WE (and I mean we.. around 30 students) forgot our white shoes or the gala.. or both :P
- Missing a whole basketball league during March ‘cause our 4th year adviser, didn’t allow us (seniors) to join the league ‘cause she was afraid we’d miss grad prac :|
- GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL and getting a LOYALTY AWARD.. I wonder why I got one =))
- Passing Ateneo! Dream school! Dream school! :)
- Getting home awfully HIT and getting grounded for a month! SORRY MOMMMM :) NEVER AGAIN.. will I get home awfully hit. I’d learn to wait and not go home if I’m pretty tipsy. HAHA kidding :P
- Crazy Drew’s sessions!
- Getting a D on my first MATH LONG TEST under Sir Ramil Bataller. Daaaamn!
- Leading my PE team to victory during the LSPE thing :) Not bad guys, we played 5 straight games!
- Walking in school looking like a mummy with a bandage on my left wrist and on my right foot!
- Getting good grades for the first semester :) Getting A’s.. yey! :>
- Meeting someone I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO MEET SINCE Summer of 2006 :”>
- Getting "heartbroken".. by someone not worth it :P I just realized that!
- (P1) Singing our lungs out along Sec Walk asking for money from friends so we could buy 4 slices of apple pie.. WE’RE POOR, okay? :P
- ENDLESS surprise parties for friends ;)
- Partyiiing (yey!)
- SUPERKADUPER random night-out with friends :)
- Getting jealous because of someone I shouldn’t be jealous of.. ;)
- Losing our precious dogs :( They were out for housebreaking and they never came back :(
- Running away from the guard because I forgot my ID at home!
- Lonely Monday nights as I wait for 7pm to come (coding :|)
- Group study sessions at someone’s dorm for the Math Midterms/Finals :)
- Watching UAAP with my favorite girls and guys :)
- Lining up for a UAAP ticket :| ..ended up getting an upper box B =))
- Getting Sir Ramil Bataller for Ma11 :-j
- Staging a play for our Fil11 under Sir Egay :) And because he was impressed every single class of his need not take the finals :)
- Staying inside Starbucks for more than 3 hours not ordering anything.. and then coming out of Starbucks for a bit to eat fish balls outside! HAHAHA
- LOSING MY FAVORITE JACKET :(
- Doing an “activity” during ES10 :) HINT: It involves a clean chair and lots of INK :-j (and 3 more people from different class schedules.. “conference kami”)
- Passing late papers (Hahaha, you’re a student.. you know why and you know what I did :P)
- Pulling an all-nighter for an ES10 project; we did it for two days at Babs’ house! We did 2 sets of all-nighters and after the second one, we came in late for Math class and missed an A quiz :(
- Being late every Tuesday and Thursday :))
- First ever block inuman :)
- Drinking sessions with NFFs :P
- Random trip to Xavierville.. we walked!
- Attending SIMBANG GABI in Gesu :) THE BEST.
- Bobet! I can’t believe I was that CRAAAAZY!
- Cutting a class to eat with some friends :P
- ONE MONTH of Semestral Break :>
Things to do before 2008 ends:
- Tell *insertnamehere* what I truly feel (mental note: Anna, do it this time. NO REGRETS.) DONE..
- Do better in Math and not get anything lower than C+ this semester (if it’s really THAT hard, at least a C...)
- Get rid of the “foot-in-mouth” disease; be careful of the things I say :)
- WATCH MORE MOVIES! ..And yes, that includes FINALLY watching ENCHANTED, loser. ;)
- Spend LESS
- Remind friends (or… whoever…) how much I love them ;)
- E-mail with cousins MORE (Hello Ate Mavic, Ate Rose and Kuya Eugene :P)
- Capture a PERFECT SUNSET shot :)
- ADOBE PHOTOSHOP; self-explanatory :P
- Have a picture taken while I’m hanging from a basketball ring (THIS IS REALLY COOL)
- Fix my Livejournal *coughs*.. I think I need help on how to make some things in my LJ look better
- LEARN TO WHISTLE (believe me, it’s frustrating when you can’t whistle!)
- Buy a new dictionary (my poor baby’s dilapidated already)
- Read Les Miserables again :) I love love love Les Mis :)
- WATCH INCUBUS (Okay, this can’t be carried over to the next year if I miss this.. obviously :P)
- DL; self-explanatory
- Buy myself a hoodie! I’m addicted, heehee :”>
- Buy a cap :) I looooooove caps :)
- Hang out again with Anya and Dizon :) I love you guys!
- Hang out with Reich and Inna :) WE CAN DO THIS!
- NOT have a debut for my birthday celebration :P It’s arhaic, just like what Viola said :P
- Genuine happiness :) This might take long to achieve though..
- Learn how to play poker :)
- Get a driver’s license (even if I’m not driving myself to school :P)
- Save 10k (from my own allowance :P)
