First night of the rest of my life...

So I got my CPAP machine yesterday and got to use it for the first time last night. Jess' was at his dad's place, so I didn't have to worry about bugging him with it. The machine itself is brand new, and one of the newest kinds. Its pretty compact, so I won't have to worry about  travelling with it. I am only on a trial right now, so I have a couple masks to try out. I'm not going to say I've noticed a huge change in one night, but i'm very optimistic!

So, the respiratory therapist explained when the findings were. I have upper respiratory obstruction, which is sleep apnea. Basically to be set up with a CPAP machine you need to have your oxygen saturation be lowered during sleep, and have breathing obstructed. So basically, I DO have sleep apnea. But thats good cuz its treatble!

Yay for sleep!
