I'm kinda meh about using these for layouts anymore so I'm just going to leave these here.
All drawn with swatches I made from my Derwent colours, I like the images well enough, but... I dunno, not quite what I was after layout-wise. I think it might work better if I did it more in browns than the brighter end of the Derwent spectrum. I'm not used to colours that saturated in Photoshop anymore XD It is showing why it was so hard to move away from the OMGSATURATED stuff I used to do, tho. I never realised how BRIGHT these colours were until I turned them into Photoshop swatches. I guess the real world dulls them a bit when they're real media. I also tend to use the browns to shade but thought I might try something different and use the blues and purples instead. I like them, but not enough to stare at one of them on my flist every day for months until I'm motivated enough to make a new layout. Yeah we'll see.
