Today was a day of adulting and then not adulting and then adulting a bit more. Did the washing, final quote on the curtains organised, saw Mad Max
Got exactly what I expected. Shit blew up pretty consistently for two hours straight. Everything they touched turned to explosions. Furiosa consistently the most badarse character in the movie. Aussie accents everywhere, wondering how anyone could possibly think this franchise is American. Struggling to pick up on the slang that the Americans have been doing. The only one I picked up on was 'fang it' and that was only because I realised upon hearing it that I'd never heard it on-screen before so it MUST be Aussie. Recognised Megan Gale and John Howard (actor, not the former PM) and was proud of self :D
went shopping, spent much money on meat but probably don't have to do so again for two months so that's good, took down the washing.
Now, writing. Then dinner and more writing.
