Wow, it's been almost six months since I shared my Hobbit book progress! Time to fix that and show what I've been working on.

It took me a while to figure out what Gollum looks like. Here are some sketches:
Here I worked one of the assignments that Natalie
conjure assigns once a months - optical illusion. Can you find fleeing Bilbo?

Mirkwood
The Elves and the Dwarves. This is another 3D page with cut-out silhouettes of Bilbo and the dwarves added on top of the drawing with elves and the flames are cut our of tracing paper
The dwarves and spiderwebs. The original idea was to show some detail inside each cocoon - a lock of hair, an arm, piece of clothing - so we can tell which cocoon has which dwarf. But I liked the abstractness of the webs so I left it as is. Only Thorin's hat is visible :)
And the most recent drawing - Bilbo is not the same hobbit that has left the Shire!
