(no subject)
Last night, Austin and I were lucky enough to score tickets to the Virginia Tech concert just around 5:30 pm (it started at 6:00 pm). There was four square going on, so we flipped a coin: heads we go, tails we don't. It came up heads.
The concert was pretty okay up to the Dave Matthews Band, at which point it became undeniable awesome. NaS was cool, I had no thoughts regarding the first guy who played (Vasser?), and I didn't really like John Mayer except that the kid can sort of play the guitar, and that was sweet. Amusingly enough, Austin went to the concert talking shit about John Mayer and left it say that he was actually impressed. Either way, DMB kicked serious ass, and I'm really glad I went and got to see them. It was totally worth going, and even sitting in the south endzone, we did not feel at all deprived of the awesomeness.
So I am pleased, and also very tired as I had to wake up early today to take Austin to school, but maybe I'll take a nap later... after this stupid 12:30 zone meeting meeting. Sigh.
