i havent updated in forever but thats because my life has been crazy with very little free time. However now I have plenty of free time laying down on my back because I scream with pain if I am doing something besides that. I shall explain better with wonderful pictures:
the day after thanksgiving I lost my voice and had a horrible cough for about 2 weeks, I finally got better since I got to see a doctor and she gave me the wonderful Z pack and an asthma inhaler which I had to use a lot since I could not breath after my cough attacks. After 6 days of the medication I felt much much better and was back to normal until this past friday when they were making me go in and out of the office running around helping older people here and there and I was not wearing a sweater or scarf or anything to keep me warm so of course that night I had a fever of 103 and felt like poop. Saturday Morning I go to the ER and was having a really hard time breathing I felt like I was going to pass out when they took my temperature and saw that it was 103.7 they finally took me seriously and took me right in to get seen.
First they wanted to bring the fever down which was at 104 by now and made me eat ice chips and had 3 Ivy bags which made me feel just great because I could feel cold cold water running inside my body which I felt like it was on fire. then they took blood samples and let me rest for a while. The sent me to get xrays to see my lungs because I wasnt able to talk much since I could hardly breath to begin with, they though maybe I had pneumonia but they said there was nothing wrong with my lungs on the xrays so they wanted to know why it sounded like a wheeeeze whenever I would breath in and out
So they sent me to another lab for further blood work and get a CT scan of my chest and nothing! so then they did this thing where they push water down your nose and you have to bring it back up and that told them I had the flu so then like 3 doctors come in and tell me I probably have meningitis because my fever was so high and all the symptoms fit and I should get it checked out because I could die from it. But that before that I should go again and get more CT scans of my head to make sure my brains ok after the fever and to look for any tumors that might have caused my blurry vision.
By the time I come back they have a tray filled with wipes and towels and alcohol scrubbies and big ass needles. They tell me they will have to do a spinal tap and that I have to sign a bunch of papers saying theyre allowed to do it because there can be complications. I went on with it because they were saying if you dont get it done youll die!! DIE!!! and let me just say that the spinal tap procedure has by far been the most painful thing I have ever experienced. One because anesthetics dont work well with me and two because the doctor that did it was just plain rough and rude. I had nurses and doctors coming in and out of the room and knocking to see if everything was ok because I was screaming my lungs out.
The doctor still had the nerve to say "OK why are you screaming?? is it pain you feel or pressure??" and I tell her its PAIN! so she goes "hmm.. are you sure its not pressure?? what do you FEEL....exactly??" and I screamed at her I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A FREAKING NEEDLE STUCK IN MY SPINE. thats when a nurse came in to help, they put more anesthetics and did it all over again and this time i just wanted to it done with so I spent the whole procedure bitting my pillow.
booooo Im gettin really dizzy so Ill finish this later, I just wante dto post the cool pictures. people dont ever evreevre ge† a spinal tap they will ruin your christmas.... and birthdays too if they are right after christmas.
