Ben Franklin was right. Spending a little here and a little there can bring you close to the pit; and then, when an investment opp'y comes along, or you are planning a program of change . . ..
It's nice to know that he lived according to the conventional wisdom as much as I do! *chuckle* He loved books, ideas, and flirtatious women!
Still, I must quit spending on comforts. Must save more in long-term investments. Because there are no guarantees.
Tony Blair won his historic thrid term (for a Labour PM). But he will have to govern moderately, knowing that his Finance Minister may be the next PM.
