(no subject)
Well, this weekend we seem to be moving to a new house. It's not actually that new, but it's new for *us* . . . (I found out recently that ellipses are supposed to be a space away from the words that they are between and have spaces [thin/non-breaking ones preferably] between the little full stops - the things one learns when training to be an editor, I guess) The new house has a bedroom about twice the size of the one that we are living in at the moment, but the lounge is a little small. It is all compensated by the fact that there is a real kitchen with a real oven in it and an enormous backyard for the little kitten to roam around in. The kitten, by the way, seems to have a new nickname - Krusty Demon, we are going to get it a little motorbike/snowboard or something :-)
I'm taking a day off work on Friday so we can move and go shopping for a fridge and washing machine - I've found a very cute washing machine (as cute as they get, really), but I don't really care about the fridge so much . . . I think I'd much rather go shopping for shoes . . . mmmmmmm . . . shoes . . .
