How Harry Potter Has Changed My Life
I love to say that Harry Potter has changed my life. Not in a way that it changed how I saw life after I read the books, or even that it saved me from depression or anything. But, in a more practical way, like how I met new people because of it, I engaged in discussions and learned so much more about other people's point of view...
One great thing that Harry Potter brought me was Livejournal. I'd probably not even know what LJ really was and would never have started one if it wasn't for Harry Potter. Through LJ, I met people all over the world, I learned how to express myself in English (sometimes, not very well, but I'm constantly learning), I shared my thoughts about life, I asked questions, I got advice... and it was all because of a book about a boy that lives in a cupboard under the stairs that finds out he is a wizard.
Funny how big changes often come for small things, huh?
