So I'm pretty much as happy as a clam right now.
I went to see the infectious disease doctor today about my lyme disease, which i was incredibly worried about, but it went incredibly well. Apparently when they test for lyme disease they do this cheap test called a screening test. I tested positive on this one, and that would be when they called and freaked me out. Now after this screening test, it goes on to an expensive definitive test (which they could do in the beginning but it cost more money - I think this is dumb...if it will give a definitive answer why not do it?) and on this one, I tested negative for lyme disease. The screening test that was positive was caused by the mono antibodies in my blood.
So therefore, NO LYME DISEASE!!!!!
