(no subject)
Well today was my last day of classes and I just now finished up my last bit of reading for the year. So that's a good feeling...except for that whole exam thing coming up. I'm a little upset about a humanities paper I just got back; I got a C+ because basically my professor doesn't like reading about religion since he's a history professor. That's good for him and all, but the class is interdisciplinary and he can't just give C's to everyone that writes on religion (which I know of three people that usually get A's and B's that all got C's on this paper for writing about religion). He disagreed with me that Soren Kierkegaard believed in an afterlife. He's a traditionalist Christian...of course he's not going to believe in Heaven. So yeah, I made sure I wasn't crazy for thinking he'd believe in Heaven, and talked to the religion professor in Humanities...and he basically said I was right, and then I went and talked to my section leader about it...he said he'd look at it again. So hopefully he'll raise the grade a little bit.
Anyways, I need to do well on all my exams... I never like that feeling. OOh, also, I have $55 to last me for the next week, $30 of which is going to be for my gas to get home. So we'll see how that goes. I'm thinking about taking 64 through the mountains to get home...that'll be such a beautiful drive and I can avoid the interstate traffic...
Well, my first exam is Saturday, and it's still Wednesday night, so I'm not overly stressed out right now. But just wait, I know it's coming...
