The overwhelming image I was working with while making this mix was of lying on my back in the grass late at night, looking up at the stars and listening to the crickets chirping all around me. That's the atmosphere that I wanted to convey here. So a few songs are actually literally about that - "Emily", "Isn't It A Lovely Night?", "Green Arrow", for example; and for the others, it was a sound and a feeling that I was going for - a certain kind of solemness and a warmth. So you could even go lie outside one warm summer night with my mix playing on your ipod, and it would seriously make me the happiest girl on the planet. Enjoy.
