So the three things that I was really concerned about this voting season didn't come to pass. Marilyn Musgrave did get re-elected. The definition of marriage is now only between 'one man and one women.' And domestic partnership are not legal. My only consolation is that it really is a beautiful day out side. It is almost 75 degrees. Both of those issue were pretty close. It means that colorado is starting to lean more towards equal rights for Gays and Lesbians. I knew going in it would be tough because all the other states have received domestic partnership rights though court rulings. Trying to get it with popular vote I think must be tougher. And finally I was having a conversation with my 12 year old niece last night. Some how it was brought up about gay marriage. She say "If you love each other, why should you not get married." I have HOPE for our future voters!!!!!!!
