Oi, I love my car but.......

I so have not had very much luck when it comes to my car lately. My battery died on me about 2 weeks ago because I accedentally left the dome light on. I had to get my brother-in-law to come and jump it which is sometime like pulling teeth to get him away from his computer to help someone. Then last thursday I had not driving my car for 2 days because I was sick and my sister had come to get me for the little time I did leave the house. Well because of no use the battery died again. So I took the $50 that my grandparents had given me for my birthday and went and got a new battery installed. I figured it was time because I have had my car for almost 5 years and never replaced it. Then tuesday night after I had taken mom some dinner I was driving back into greeley. I was driving down the highway and I see a matress in the middle of the road. I was going to fast to stop and I couldn't jump in the left hand lane because there was too many cars so I just ran it over. My car started draging so I thought I had blown the tire. I got out of the car to look and the tires were fine but the mattress was jamed under the car. I got back in the car and tried driving forward and backwards to see if it would come out and it wouldn't. I called around to see if I could get some help. Tim's brother said he would but while I was waiting I got the jack out and lifted the back end up and attempted to pull it out. It was really jammed in there. Then a man and woman stopped and he fiddle around with it for a good 20 min and finally got it out from under the car. It was so annoying. I am glad it didn't damage the car. I am also glad it was only a twin cause that would of sucked if it was a full or double trying to get it out :). I am hoping the car will be ok for the rest of winter. I don't think I can handle much more.
