win-win situation
whew...what an Easter break. I picked my parents up from the airport on Thursday. They returned from their cruise, and had a good time. We missed the bomb threat at PTI by an hour or so...close call there.
Carolina won two games this weekend....first against Villanova on Friday and then against Wisconsin on Sunday. I'm so proud of you guys, Charlie! Best of luck in the Final Four, I'm rooting for you. The win-win situation here is that Dookie lost against Michagin State Friday....therefore, i'm a happy tarheel fan!
Friday, I worked....and worked hard at that. I talked to Jeremy (assistant GM for the Burlington Indians) and he asked me to Work friday's game (Elon vs. Davidson) at the Burlington Athletic Stadium. I went into work at 2:30 and preped the stadium for a ball game. We worked straight up til game time, then i worked concessions throughout the game. we sold out of almost everything (everything except for drinks that is). I went home during the bottom of the 7th, Elon was up 2-1. As soon as I got home I realized just how sore i was...and i realized just how hard i need to work to get into shape before the summer gets into full swing!
Sunday was Easter, mom and I slept in (accidently) and were almost late for sunrise service at mom and dad's church....then i went home and got ready for my church. other than church, baseball, and airport time my weekend entailed spending time with friends and family. good times. not much longer left of this semester and i get to do that all summer long! happy day!
for now, its off to supper. more later
