I'll drink some FIRE
It's really feeling like late summer/early fall here, which I am NOT okay with. It's still August! Dammit, New England! I mean, today it actually feels really pleasant out, so I shouldn't be complaining, but it's getting dark earlier, and school is about to start, and all that makes me saaaaaaad.
What makes me happy, though, is that we're moving into our gorgeous new apartment this week! I just went by and picked up the key from our hot, tall, responsible new landlord, Nick. He lives downstairs, and seriously, did I mention that he is extremely hot? Also, he repainted all the rooms of the place for us, and is replacing the floorboards on the deck, and is generally being awesome. He lives with someone named Max - for awhile, we weren't sure whether Max was male or female (Max = our Blaise Zabini, really). Now we're pretty sure he's male from the voice on the answering machine (Max has yet to be seen), so the only remaining question is: Max & Nick - roommates or boyfriends?
Poll The big question
So apparently, there is a DVD challenge going on where people do commentary on other people's fic! And general_jinjur really graciously did commentary on a BtVS Wishverse fic I wrote a loong time ago. I haven't reread the fic in forever, and I winced a little bit at some parts I would do really differently now, but it's totally interesting and flattering to see what someone else has to say about it.
Office fandom right now is kicking my ass with its awesomeness - you guys should all read honey_wheeler's strange bedfellows, a sad and hot and ridiculously in character Meredith/Michael, and kyrafic's Fact: Ninjas are Mammals (Pam/Dwight), which features the most hilarious drunk Dwight I have ever seen in all my days.
