Favorite story of the year (my own) - Hmmm, this one is hard. I think I am going to have to go with Hannah and Dawn and Hermione and the Big Adventure, which I wrote for Lale. It makes me so happy, because it is just about me and her and Moireach, and it's in this continuing series of universe we write, so it's like an inside joke except not really funny. I mean, this story doesn't really work as fanfic because it's getting so removed from the source, and hardly anyone is willing to keep up with this universe so I just write for my own and Lale's amusement, but I still love these stories a lot.

My best story this year - Probably Out of This Stony Rubbish. It was interesting to write 'cause it was a sequel, and when I went back to read the original I could really see that my writing's improved a LOT in the past two years. Which was kind of cool, since I wasn't really aware of that happening at the time. Also, this is a story that I put a LOT of effort into, and that has a lot of allusions, blah blah - it's more like a real story than a lot of other stuff I wrote, which were more like games. Which is totally fun and cool too, but, yeah. Runner-up in this category is All Too Sweet To Last, even though its title comes from a VANESSA CARLTON SONG as covered by my own brother. I am the loserest loser that ever lost.

Story most underappreciate by the universe - Maybe Appeals - I think my Logan characterization in that is really good, but the story didn't really have a big audience since it's not only a crossover with SVU but a crossover that totally ages down Alex Cabot with no explanation. Hahahaha. Wow, I'm awesome.

Most fun story - Looking over these it is just one big angst fest - do I WRITE fun stories? What is wrong with me? OH. Probably Five Families Connor Was Not Magically Squeezed Into After His Real Vampire Dad Slit His Throat - hahahahaha. In which the title says it all. This was totally fun - I just wish I'd had more time to write longer versions of all these crossovers, because I really enjoyed Connor as a Bluth. Runner-up in this category is Only Your Brother Knows the Places You've Been, because I still can't believe I wrote Super Mario Bros fanfic. Yikes.

Sexiest story - Ahahahahaha. Um. Okay, the priest AU! Eleison. I did not know I had a priest kink, but, um, wow. This story for some reason ate my brain - it was all I could think about for a couple of days. During finals. Which was awkward.

Hardest story to write - Out of This Stony Rubbish, again. I have actually been trying to write this sequel for the last two years, but it never worked, for some reason. I mean, I knew what would happen, what the themes were, everything. But for some reason it took reading The Waste Land every night for three weeks to find the right form. Or something. I don't even understand it. Runner-up in this category - To Carthage Then I Came. Because I started this six months before I finished it, and apparently even clone incest is disturbing enough to be hard to write. (Also, X-Files fic? Really? Is it 1997?)

Most telling story - well, if I TOLD you, then you would know! Yeah, I honestly have no idea. They're all telling - what is my problem with apocalypses? With het UST? With cartoon slash? I mean, I don't know WHAT these stories tell, but they probably tell something. But I think I try not to write my own issues too much. I don't know. Someone else can answer this one.
