So after the America´s Cup on Tuesday we ofcourse went to the port to celebrate with the rest of the sailing world. The Swiss did win by the way....only by like 2 seconds. It was a good a race.

But anyways, we were trying to get into this club that had a ridiculously long line. My brother had already jumped the fence and snuck in and was just hanging out there. Well we went to fence and talked with my brother for awhile, trying to figure out ways to get in and all of a sudden this man (very drunk) came up and starting talking to me in French....I was like...hey, I know this language. We talked for a bit and found out that he was a journalist for the French newspaper, Liberation, and was covering the America´s Cup. So then he took off his VIP press pass and put it around my neck (keep in mind that it had his picture on it) and told me to come in. Then he got passes from his other French friends to give to my 3 other friends....and so we passed all of the line, just playing dumb to security guards and walked in. It was amazing.

Then we had conversations in Franglais...and then even threw in some Spanish...needless to say, it was a very interesting night. I left and went to bar because I really didn´t want him to get the wrong impression of me and expect anything...but then he found me and made me dance...and by dance, I mean spin me around every which way like a crazy man. It was really fun though...people kind of made this circle around us...probably to avoid being hit.

What a random, interesting night.

While on the topic of France...Now thinking about meeting the Swede in Paris...It would just be so much more convenient for me. And plus, Delta is stationed there...so I could easily go home. Stockholm is just so far out of the way...He doesn´t know yet if he can come, but he has never been there before and there are reallllyyy cheap flights...God bless Ryan Air.
