this morning:a scandal in washington, or should i say, one of the scandals in washington.
a few weeks ago (not word for word, except for the last line): if you're missing a cat you may want to call the humane society. witnesses say a cat was found that had run across a six lane highway bridge, jumped 70 feet into the river below, swam 50 feet to shore before being picked up by animal control. the cat was unharmed and volunteers say it is eating ravenously.
