A Girls' Night Gone Wrong

Nov 21, 2004 21:05

We started with the best of intentions. A Saturday night with the girls from work complete with food, knitting, chick flicks, and a couple drinks. Unfortunately, although I called it a night, the others decided it was time to keep partying. After rocking out to 80's music, I followed them to some dive bar that made my more-sober skin crawl. But, oh no, the fun doesn't end there. By 3AM I was brushing my teeth and getting ready to call it a night and pass out on my co-worker's couch, and I heard a thundering crash and ran into the next room with toothpaste dripping out of my mouth only to find my friend laid out on the floor and bleeding from her chin. A trip to the emergency room and 5 stitches later, it was 5AM and only 2 hours until I had to get up to teach bible study. Only 2 hours of sleep makes teaching high schoolers about the bible a WAY more interesting experience.

Lessons learned:

Girls' Nights are hazardous to one's health and must only be partaken of sparingly.

RA skills will always come in handy.
