Where have I been?
I haven't been far. I had a fake break, scheduled my next big test, starred in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles: The Musical" during my trip to Jersey, and even went back to Philly for the first time since moving away. At least I had a nice dress and a good friend.
My schedule has been resolved! There was a chance that I wouldn't be allowed to take one of my classes next week, but my advisor, Sue (aka The Best UB Employee Ever), told me that it would be ok for me to stay. Yay! Tomorrow I'll buy my books and get cracking on everything academic. ALA and GSA are starting up soon and that will give me plenty to do.
So, about that Jersey thing: I went from the airport to Center City to Trenton to Camden to Center City again, and aside from being overcharged by SEPTA assholes, it wasn't that bad. In fact, I'll be using it as a good story once school starts. It was just a problem when my flight got delayed. I had no problem with the actual trip.
Let's get this semester going! I need momentum.
