okay, so i am finally back to reading lj, at least somewhat, after several months of not.
i have just skimmed posts from the past week, and may read further back later, may not.
currently i am staying at the house of Laura47, JessieHL and Christine, who are being very nice.
There was karaoke saturday (much fun, but i was also slightly detached at times and had to leave
the room... which it turns out doesn't help with the feeling-involved) after squares and borrowing
a dress to wear at the following day's wedding. there was a wedding yesterday, which was quite
lovely (yay! another happy couple! now three of my friends are married--dynee, tammy and mira!
not that the guys aren't friends, too, but guys are just silly). there was much sleeping, which
is good since i've been rather tired lately: even at swing on wednesday i was mostly out of it,
and it's gone downhill from there. so. much sleeping, and some snogging. yay! but probably no more
of that until i get back home from here, NYC and the Oregon coast. oh well.
doing things, however, always seems to get in the way of doing other things.
saturday i missed some of squares due to freshening up when i got to campus,
and more due to making cally's mit alias and looking up the raytheon jobapp.
i then also missed patrol, the 22:22 party and hacking due to doing karaoke.
sunday i slept in and skipped ringing altogether, and left the house only to
pick up a pair of free tickets to The Ego and the Oracle for 7:30 yesterday,
which of course i also missed, still being at the wedding. however even that
would have conflicted with another show i missed as it seems the Red Elvises
were also playing last night, somewhere in central (JBE was in Davis). Today
I missed Mira's wedding brunch, and am probably now missing opportunities to
go sailing, go to the MFA and MoS, walk one of the Freedom Trails, backup my
whole hard drive, and get actuarial exam prep books from quantum and a towel
from EMS, due to spending so much time reading livejournal.
I also need to deal with my hair, get a hostesses gift, and draw dragon diagrams.
