Howdy!
Where the hell have I been? You'd think with such a long hiatus, I'd have some exciting tales. Sadly, I do not.
I have been looking for a part time job. Times have gotten really hard. But I only want to work 3 nights a week, no weekends, and holidays off. I've gotten really spoiled with this 8-5 job.
Just got back from the Dark Knight. I feel like I'm the only person left in the world that hasn't seen. It was AWESOME. Did it live up to the momumental hype? Kind of. But it wasn't epic. The Joker definitely was. I wish he was in every single scene. Next I want to see it in IMAX. At the end of the movie, for a split second, I forgot Heath died and I was so excited to see his next role.
I went to the fair yesterday with my niece, brother, mom and her lesbian lover. We stayed for about 5 hours and it was sooo hot. But ny niece had a great time. It was so cute when she had to share her seat on the ride with other kids. We weren't allowed on it, but we were waving to her and she was telling the other kids: "That's Anna and that's my daddy." And she loved the giant slide. That's one of my favorites, but getting up the stairs is a bitch. That was the first time I've been in a long time and I forgot how fun it is.
My birthday is in 10 days. 24, wow. There are so many things that haven't happened that I thought would. If it was going according to plan, I should be planning my wedding that's supposed to happen next year. The bad thing about plans: you feel like a failure when it doesn't go accordingly.
Now I have to get prepared for another work week. After that, I am reading all The Dark Knight articles I've be avoiding so I wouldn't be spoiled. Later, folks!
