Another Rainy One Here

Mar 24, 2007 12:06

Okay,so for the past few years I kept complaining and complaining about the lack of rain and t'storms around here and I now I am getting payback big time. We currently have yet another thunderboomer making it's presence known outside,and the rain is coming down in buckets. I made the bed,got a load of whites in the washer,and am listening to Josh Groban on Windows Media Player,and thought what the heck,I'll post a little something. I had to giggle at myself because I can go from being in the mood to listen to hard rock like the groups I was listening to the other day to wanting to listen to Joshiepoo's serenely beautiful voice. I might, however,listen to the harder stuff later...I can sound kinda good "singing" with Josh,but I have to admit that I've found that I seriously sound more like Little Bo Peep when I try to sing the harder stuff with groups like Hinder. *lol*

It's really good to hear your voice;
it sounds so sweet,
comin' from the lips of an angel,
hearin' those words
it makes me weep...
Lips of an Angel--Hinder

Speaking of that song,I heard a countrified version of it at the car dealership last week,and couldn't believe my ears! Don't musicians have to give a song a chance with one group before someone else can record it?? Weird. Stupid even.

I am still in my pjs (it's raining out and I'm not going anywhere) but will probably find suitable daytime wear here in a bit. The kids are playing in Shawn's bed,but they periodically yell at eachother (like right now) so I have been busy keeping them in line,too. Kinda makes me wish we could go outside...

Well,the kids are getting really out-of-control and irritating,so perhaps I'd better run.....away. No,I can't,it's raining,dammit. Guess I'll have to see what's up...
