You'd think I would notice when the beard dissapears.
I never notice when Matthew shaves. It's sort of strange. Sophomore year a bunch of guys decided to celebrate "Facial Hair February" by not shaving all month. I gave Matthew crap for two weeks. Then he shaved, and I didn't notice for several hours. Now he shaves about once every two or three weeks. He gets really scruffy. Then he'll shave and I won't notice until he tells me. This can be several hours or even a day or two.
Thinking about it now, I realize that there are times I would notice. But, it's only when something else leads me to that conclusion. Like, if he were wearing the aftershave I think smells sexy, I would smell it and be like "did you shave?" I would then look at his face, and notice that yes, he did.
I always notice when he gets his hair cut. I notice when he just does his hair differently. I notice the clothes he wears. He doesn't have to point out when he dresses up.
