Span of absence

Jan 13, 2011 01:24

Silently falling in love with the me that I see through your eyes
The paradox of you, bright and fast,
Sweeping through my measured existence
The mirror reflecting your expression in the lines of my face
In the emptiness of my embrace
I make love to the surreal you
I cradle the sublime ideas of you in my sweaty hands
Your deep imprint upon my soul spans
To the farthest reaches of consciousness
Electric wires connecting fingers and hearts for an instance
Heartbeats defying the distance
Reaching out for you into space
Longing pounding unrestrained, body turned into nerve endings
I pace the confines of my brain spending
My vocal chords on aborted moans

missing you, scribbles
