Special Olympics scarves
A friend of mine and I are ganging up to work on scarves for Special Olympics.
They need 5000 scarves by January, so all participants in the Winter Games can each have one. I found out about the project at Ravelry, and now I think more members of the yarn ministry are doing it too. It's a fun project: you can use any pattern as long as you use the official yarn in blue and and white to make a scarf 4-1/2" wide by 50" long.
