After one week of nicotine sobriety... I cracked yesterday. Chris and I had our first chance at some "alone time" and well, the movies are all correct, you just gotta smoke afterward... So in my moment of weakness I bought a pack and lit up.
Now of course, I didn't go crazy and smoke an entire pack in 5 minutes. In fact I've smoked less. I didn't bring them in to work with me today, so I'm luckily going to get some semblance of my quitting back again.
I just gotta get back on that horse and ride again.
So, also this weekend, I got myself a kick ass bag from Target that's big enough to hold my knitting stuff ($14.99!!). I was really tired of transporting it all in plastic grocery bags, plus they're not big enough. I'll have a pic of it up here soon. It's really cute, purple, clear plastic and then has this mod-dots kinda design. It's really two bags in one (one fits inside the other), so I'm loving it.
Plus I can work out of the bag and the cats won't mess with it.. They're getting on my damned nerves with all the yarn hanging off my project. I'm tempted to start weaving in ends just so they'll leave it alone. I shouldn't though because I'm only about half way finished.
I keep finding more and more projects lately to work on and it's driving me nuts. I want to get this dang afghan done and move on already! I like to work on big stuff like this because then I'm not done in 10 seconds and end up drooling for more, but then it's frustrating when I find something else and I can't get this project done fast enough!
I just need a major yarn fix so I think I'm going to Joann's tonight to take a look around. I'm hoping they still have their camouflage yarn left. I didn't want it at the time when I was last in there, but now that I think of it, I want to make a scarf out of it...
Is it bad I got the heroin itch for yarn?
