I received a beautiful card from the lovely
marsterslady last week. Thank you so much, Alley! I love the little stocking. It was so sweet of you to take the time to do that. :)
Everything is all crazy here with getting ready for Christmas, but I need a little break from that. I still feel like I will never ever get caught up on LJ, especially being at my mom's on dial up, but I'm trying. Josh and I made cookies with his mom last night. We bought her a new stove for Christmas, so it was a nice way to break it in. We're having dinner with his family tonight, an early meal with my mom after presents tomorrow, and then it's back to his mom's house for more presents and more food, and then off to visit some more of his family later in the day. In a way it's nice to have our families so close together, but it's also kind of difficult because we're always expected to be in at least two places at the same time. :)
It's been a little hard to get into the Christmas spirit because it's like 50 degrees outside when it really should be snowing, but listening to Christmas music is helping a little bit. So here's a little present for all of you -- my favorite Christmas song ever. It may be cheesy, but I don't care. :)
