Weekend Update

So I know I've been a big livejournal slacker lately...but I've been far to busy for internet nonsense. Sleep does come before a few thins in my life.

So let's see, what happened this week? I worked 3.5 days out @ Crossmark Graphics, so that'll be a sweet paycheck next weekend. They ran out of work for me so I'm very unemployed for the time being. I'm trying not to think about that and just enjoy my 4 day weekend. 3 nights out at Hale this week, as well. Reffing was fine, we got done super-early on Thursday so me and Kelly played some mad 2's vs. Annie and Ponzi. I sweat profusely, of course. But the big news from Hale this week: TEAM ROLLSHOT WON A MATCH!!!!! They almost won 2, but they couldn't quite pull it out in the 3rd game. Oh well, at least we're improving.

Yesterday was craziness, and I loved every moment of it. I started off my day with a crappy workout at the Y. After that I came home (thought someone was breaking into my house), got ready, and went out to Brookfield Square. There I applied for a job at Bravo, some pricey Italian restaurant where Annie works. It was crazy in there, and it was only around noon! I can't imagine what the dinner rush is like. Then I walked around the mall to kill time before my dr. appt. I bought a really cute shirt at Aero, and got Mueller a b-day gift from Spencer's. I'm not gonna lie, it's so cool I wanna keep it for myself. Finally made it to the dr., and found out I was 30 minutes late b/c I had written the time down wrong. I got to see him anyway, and finally got out to Amanda's. We drove down to State Fair Park for the blood drive. I was a champ, had enough iron, and didn't even get dizzy while I was giving. That's never happened before. My arm is a little sore today, but whatever, I'm saving lives, bitches.

After that we raced back to my house where we met Blosky and picked up Kristina on our way to the Brewer game. So first of all, we had free parking because my mom has a VA parking pass and it's like a 2 second walk. Then, we go to pick up our *free* tickets from Amanda's mom's friend....we go to the VIfreakingP window and get our row 5, first base line seats. I was blown away, they were great seats. Close enough to heckle effectively, but we'll get back to that later. So on our way in, they tell me I can't take my Nalgene bottle in. I'm like, uh, ok, I guess I'll just leave it here, whatever. But then my good friend Duane (from factory #2), comes up to me w/ my bottle in a paper bag, so I didn't lose it!

I had a lovely time yelling at the Pirates 1st baseman. And their pitcher... I kept getting glared at by this woman in front of me when I yelled "that was a blatant bauk!!", but the bitch didn't even know what a bauk was, so f her.

Ew, two creepy old men in front of us, actual conversation:
Me: Gross, the Brewer's have slutty dancers now, I can't support that
Creepy guy: I can!
Me: Um, wasn't your wife just sitting here next to you?
Creepy guy: Yeah, but she isn't now...
Me: Gross

So the Brewers won and it was a wonderful game, and we all got free throwback tshirts! That brings me to 2 free tshirts, a state fair ticket, free parking, free Brewer tickets, and a free dinner, all in one day! Wow, it was great.

Now Meg is moving into our house before she goes out to CO to meet the fience's family. I believe I'm headed to Q-Doba w/ the fam for some lunch, then down to Miller Park to help out the Hale clan w/ concessions today. Always a good time. Peace
