(no subject)
im home from hilton head/savannah. it was fun, i swam with dolphins. perhaps i will post pictures once they are developed, and once i remember how to do that.
i got tan. possibly actually tan, and not just 'wow, annies not blindingly pale anymore' tan. which is cool but probably actually not good at all.
some of the trip was...interesting. i did things and went places i can honestly say i never thought i would do or go to.
side note: the heat index was 115 degrees the entire time i was there, and it was like 97% humidity. ugh.
brett tomorrow! brett tomorrow! i hope. im excited. i miss that boy, even though it hasnt even been a week. i wish he would stay until saturday afternoon, but i dont think that is going to happen. oh well, you cant win them all.
im done with my summer spanish class, thank god. it was helpful, but it was also super super boring and not how i want to spend my mornings.
i finally watched hotel rwanda last night, with my dad. i had been avoiding it because i knew how intense and sad it would be, but im glad i watched it. and im glad i wasnt alone. i was a mess afterward. i really needed to be hugged or cuddled or something but all i had was my cat who was angry at something at the time and was in no mood to be near anyone.
i want to see lindsay.
and i want to figure out how to work with her at the jcc next summer. if that doesnt work out, im considering being a waitress somewhere, which is a scary scary thought.
i think im ready to go back to school. too bad i still have almost a month. and too bad everyone will be gone for that month, and i probably wont be able to see brett because his school schedule is wierd and he doesnt really have time to come visit anymore, once he starts.
if only my u of m loves would still be here.
