Finally got over to the MFA today to see the
Paris Couture exhibit! It was absolutely incredible! So beautiful! Stupid American museums that are so concerned with preservation and copyrights or whatever and don't let you take pictures! Grr. There was this one amazine gray silk halter gown by Rochas - It was amazing.
Some pretty crazy stuff and some beautiful garmets we could easily have walked away with - that is if we were size 2 and had done a little planning ahead in order to get away with a museum heist!
We checked out a 15th-17th century Italian sculpture exhibit while we were there - saw lots more guys with unnaturally small penises. (I really don't get it!!) Learned some neat stuff about religious art.
Stopped at Cold Stone on the way home. Split a vanilla with M&Ms and gummi bears. I brought home a pint of watermelon sherbet - with the jimmies and bears mixed right in!! Cost me a whopping $9 but it's SO worth it! Bought The Prestige at Best Buy while we were there - can't wait to watch it!
Just finished cleaning the bathroom (just a quick once-over to get all the hair - the neat thing about not living with boys is the toilet doesn't get too dirty), Swiffering the kitchen and bathroom, and running the vacuum really quick. So far it doesn't look like the little vacuum can get a whole 30 minutes out of one charge like it says, but for 30 bucks I still say it was worth it!
Off to put my tuna casserole in the oven and cook up some carrots. I think Lyla's gonna put the Red Carpet shows on pretty soon. Once people I care about start walking I might tune in, but I think I'm gonna watch some Buffy on my computer instead of the Oscars.
