Apparently Continuum also leaked on the net before time. Nice, ptb.

One would think you would learn something after The Ark Of Truth... or Atlantis last season... or Atlantis this season. *eyeroll*

The problem though, is it isn't the stargate ptb that are leaking them, Joe M has said before that it is someone else along the distribution chain outside of their immediate domain and it is sadly something over which they have little to no control. There are at least 4 different 'organisations' including mgm who have access to the unfinished versions so any one of their people could have done it.

It sucks, because of course the stargate producers don't want this happening to their franchise.

But how is it possible that this happens for the ump-teenth time? I mean, don't they (whoever they are) have some kind of a way to find out who is leaking it? Coz I haven't heard of these things happening in some of the other shows I watch. At least not this often.

Okey once or twice but this is just ridiculus.

Oh I agree. I wish we knew why or how it was happening. Joe spoke about an investigation and narrowing it down, but I don't think he ever gave us an update.

It won't hurt the movie sales though which is a good thing. The stargate that suffers is the one dependent on ratings, so Atlantis might take a hit. AoT sales were through the roof so the leak didn't hurt it. I remember whilst wandering around stores here in the UK, that there were empty dvd cases on the shelves for weeks with a "temporarilly out of stock, please pre-order" sign on them. I'm sure Continuum is going to explode in sales compared to AoT. I feel bad for Atlantis though.

Totally! I mean O'Neill and the Goa'ulds - you really can't go wrong with that. *g* Also, I've seen some of the top10 sales for dvd-s and Continuum is always somwhere there.

I feel bad for Atlantis though.

Yeah... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for season 6, although Mallozzi is already preparing fans for a cancellation... in a subtle way, of course. Or maybe I just read it that way?

Okay, how does this happen? And why doesn't it happen to most of other shows? This is done on purpose, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I'm very sure it's done on purpose... but by whom? *points to pengyn's first comment* Like she said, there are many different companies who have access to the movies before it is offically realised.

I don't believe stargate ptb's are doing it. Future movies depend on good sales of these movies so it really isn't likely.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories, however I don't have any respect, professional or any other, for Stargate PTB. You know why. I won't spam your journal with my rants.

I understand your feelings (and share some of them)... but this has nothing to do with that... speaking objectivly. What they do is shoot the movie. That's their job. After the movie is done four different companies handle it for various different reasons and purposes. Anyone can be guilty of this leak. The fact that that person hasn't yet been discovered is incompetency, I agree... but is it tptb's fault? I'm not so sure. Like I said before, if anyone will be hurt by this - it will be them. MGM sure won't.

You know I never judge until I see so I'll tell you my opinion when I see it. And I should be meeting with Ivona any day now. *bounces* Can't wait! I heard that Quetesh is awsome! Yeeey!
