Right after Femslash Feb comes March Madness.

Aka polls and campaigning time. I felt like last year got a surprising turnout, considering how of fandom had moved off to tumblr.

Yeah, last year had a larger turn out than I would've expected though? But I suppose just enough people keep accounts on here JUST TO VOTE IN POLLS AND CAMPAIGN.

I wonder who the newcomers will be in the brackets this year, though. Maybe Pacific Rim and Sleepy Hollow? WHATEVER. I HOPE IT'S A GOOD SHOWING.

Yeah, I sorta wish there was an effective way to check tumblr accounts like they can the LJ ones, so that that platform could vote as well. It really is impossible to include them as it is now, especially if the mods still want to be strict about one-vote-only rule.

OMG I WANT PACIFIC RIM IN THE BRACKET SO BAAAAD!!! :DDD

Supposedly the mods have something new again this year?? IDK, but I hope enough people show up so the ~tradition~ continues next year as well.

I imagine it'd be a lot harder with tumblr accounts, since the way tumblr is set up is to allow ease of maneuverability as, etc. as opposed to the more traditional blog setup. Oh well. I'm sure the people who do turn out for it will make it fun to watch in the comments regardless :D

It is on there! I'm going to be really surprised if Mako doesn't win the prelims. That said, I'm curious who's going to come out of some of the other shows, like DW- it might be Martha again? It's like a weird litmus test of seeing where fandom falls.

It seems that there's more than enough people showing up, or at least showing up to vote/campaign. Which is something in of itself.
