Hey all,

We're casting a few more small parts for the local independent feature film "Monkfish". We will have screen tests starting Thursday and going into next week.

Here's the casting call. To schedule an audition please send a headshot and a resume as well as information regarding your availability to anna.phylaxis@gmail.com

And, hey, if you don't have a resume or a headshot, contact me anyway. Experience is good, talent is better.

MONKFISH SYNOPSIS
When Stew Tanner finds himself penniless and living
out of his car, he must struggle to pull his life
together. Antagonized by his vertically-challenged
employer, (Tiny The Terrible,) and a crooked business
associate (Lloyd Kaufman,) Stew seeks comfort in a new
flame, but ultimately just wants to get out of town to
go to Petaluma.

SEEKING:

2 CHARACTER ACTORS: CABBIE, CHIEF
We’re looking to cast 2 characters who have one scene
a piece. In both cases, the parts are pretty close to
being monologues, since the other character (Stew,)
won’t do much talking.
Gender, ethnicity, age, body-type non-specific.

2 FEMALES, 20’s:
These are also small parts, but not monologues.
VANESSA: 1 scene, ethnicity non-specific
LAURA: 2 scenes, Caucasian, 20’s.

--------------
CONVERSATIONS:
"The Thing Ya Gotta Remember About Love"

"Sexual Harassment In The Work Place"

“Lucky Lombardy” (played by Lloyd Kaufman)

-------------
VISUAL SCENES:

“Chase”

"Dream Sequence"

"Triumphant Ending- Setting Birds Free"

ADDITIONAL TIDBIT OF TRIVIA:
Monkfish is the companion piece to the award-winning
documentary “A Man Among Giants” which chronicles Tiny
The Terrible’s run for Mayor of Pawtucket Rhode
Island. We strongly believe that the two films will do
a nice job of cross-promoting each other.
