Fanart: Dragonriders AU
So this is not part of the AU Drawing Meme but rather a project I started before leaving on vacation that I had totally forgotten until I checked my "TO DO" folder...
Somebody really needs to write this fic...
This is John, he is the rider of the fastest and most daring dragon in Atlantis. His dragon is not the biggest, but he can execute airborne maneuvers that no-one else can.
This is Rodney, he is also a dragonrider, although mostly he works as a dragon armor smith. He designed the armor Baldur is wearing, so John wouldn't get him hurt.
Rodney and John are co-workers, but really don't spend a lot of time together...
Figures their dragons would have something else in mind...
Rodney: Our dragons want to breed.
John: *cough cough* What?
Rodney: Cassiopeia wants to have your dragon's babies...
John: No!
Rodney: It wasn't exactly *my* idea! Have you ever said no to a creature that weighs a ton and is the size of a house? Besides, your dragon totally has a crush on Cassie...
So eventually they cave, and there are baby dragons everywhere and Rodney and John give in to their mutual attraction...
They blame the dragons.
