Actually it wouldn't, rules of English pronounciation aren't so specific. "-oce" could be "ohs" or "ohsh". The 'o' is elongated by the consonant-vowel cluster that follows. Sibilants are less specific, but they never mutates to the 'ch' sound, not in any case that I can think of. Soft c's tend to make the s sound.

Granted, you may have made a typo somewhere in there, because you have two different phonetic variations...

Either way, you're a douche bag. "-ouche" pronounced "oosh" - French for you're a flipping ass.

(Douche is actually a deragatory English term, a cognate of French 'doucher', to shower.)

i have not STARTED AND/OR LOOKED AT our ap lang paper for that book we were SUPPOSED to read. i read the first 5 chaps, got the jist and skipped to the end. :) that's just how we do. i'm staying up all night and doing the project. psssh, sleep is overrated.
