My Brother Among Them
I'm really beginning to think that, as the generations keep coming, they keep losing intelligence. (I'm one to talk; I can't spell half the words I speak. Ha!)
Children especially. I know for a pretty damn good fact that we (I mean all the folks my age and so on) were never, ever this bad. We never started swearing at LEAST until middle school (as a general count). These kids are learning curses as their first words, for the love of crap! Then they have to use 'gay' and 'fagot' and so on as insults. That really burns me up, and I just want to turn around and smack them for all I'm worth.
I hate having to ride the bus. >.o
I swear to all that's holy and otherwise, when I get the job I will keep for years at a time (I know I will; it happens), it will not, I repeat, WILL FREAKING NOT involve children, if I can help it.
(Reading Ctrl+Alt+Del all day isn't helping this argument... for me, it's like drinking Sprite (and yep, I know, it's caffeine free. That makes it all the better (or worse)!))
