... in which I am simply too tired to do enthusiastic properly
quinnponders will call me crazy, since she despairs over my frequent adress changes, but my good news from yesterday is that I am moving (again)! This is great news because:
a) the new apartment is located in a great neighbourhood, within walking distance from the university, the "Englischer Garten" (Munich's answer to Central Park) and all the fun bars. Whereas, right now, I have to take the subway to get anywhere, even if it only is a ten to fifteen minutes ride. I will be able to walk or ride my bike pretty much everywhere! I'll fall out of my bed right into the library and to the bar and back to bed! (I am going to live in Schwabing, for those who want to know).
b) the new apartment is prettier AND has a small balcony. Now I have never had a balcony or a porch or anything like that and I have always wanted one.
c) I'll never see my crazy neighbours again.
d) I'll be living closer to my friends.
e) Have I mentioned the location? And the balcony?
I'll be moving at the end of January. If I don't sound enthusiastic enough, it's because I am simply too tired and have been stewing over the latest draft of the paper of doom! all day. Which has, by the way, improved greatly to the point where I am mostly satisfied with my work. So, really, I am still stressed and tired, but happy. And I can't wait for Christmas and a break from all this craziness. As I am sure most of you do, too.
