Blast MS Word, blast me, blast being distracted for only a second, because damnit! I want to kill something right now. I was finally, finally getting somewhere with that part of my dissertation which has been giving me headaches for weeks, resulting in much procrastination and not much working. And then I had to accidentally hit a key, and then another, and all of what I have written today is gone. Yes, it's really only one and a half pages, but I felt like I was finally making sense there and it was somewhat decent, and now I have to do it again and it's just so freakin' pointless!

I know I should just get over myself and rewrite the part while I still remember most of it, but I'm so pissed right now that I just can't bring myself to do it. ::seethes::

And before you say it: Somehow I was so thorough - I still don't know what I actually did there - that auto-saving and all that jazz didn't work.
