Today life suddenly became a much much friendlier place. Bush finally did something useful and signed the College Cost Reduction and Access act which included a provision forgiving the balance of my loans if I work in a non-profit (which nearly all museums are) for ten years. It also cuts my monthy payments down to a quarter of what they would be otherwise. Basically I'm not going to be in debt forever and I can afford to take a really low-paying but great job once I graduate. Hooray!
