[Anne has her Network device open so she can read a recipe, not realizing that it's recording. She moves as quietly as she can, not wanting to wake any of her roommates. She wants this to be a surprise.
Her eyes are far away, imagining the delighted expression on Merlin's face as he takes his first bite of her homemade waffles. He'll declare them the best waffles he's ever tasted and ask her to make them for breakfast EVERY morning!
Lost in these pleasant fantasies, she doesn't notice that she put a tablespoon of baking powder in the mix instead of sugar. Woops.]
