Apparently Dreamwidth and my server are not speaking

So I dutifully set up an OpenID a couple weeks ago, being advised this would be in my best interest. Yet despite assurances that all confirmed OpenID'ers would get an invite code once Closed Beta went Open, and that all invites had indeed been sent out last night, I have not received one. I therefore asked for a code from a generous LJ'er who tried to send one to me - but I have not received that either (thanks anyway, hon!). Nothing is sitting in the Spam Filter, and it doesn't make sense that it would be caught as spam since I managed to receive email confirmation from DW just fine when I was setting up the OpenID.

Therefore, I remain frustrated and not impressed at the moment, for obvious reasons. :(

IF I ever manage to set up an account, my intent is to cancel my back-up accounts at InsaneJournal and JournalFen since they were only backed up from the respective dates of creation (because I couldn't really figure out how to transfer over everything from whatever outside source everyone was trying to use at the time). I have been assured that copying everything over to DW is a snap. We'll see - if I ever manage to get a code, that is.

My desire is to have only two accounts - my perm LJ, which ain't going anywhere, and DW as my one back-up. Best laid plans and all.

At least last night's Supernatural rocked. ;)

ETA: I haz a code! Though I am concerned since apparently my server and DW are having issues with each other right now. Weird, they were on speaking terms a couple weeks ago. Now one of them is sleeping on the couch. I hope it gets resolved soon because it's going to be real hard to play with DW if I can't use my primary email account.
