No Snow!
I am decidedly anti-snow. Always have been, always will be. Until the state of Maryland is able to deal effectively with snow so that I can get to work, I will be against it. Unless of course it's a Friday after work and I don't have anywhere to go, in which case, snow is lovely. As long as it's cleaned up by Monday morning.
Same goes for sleet, freezing rain, hail, and whatever frozen wonders fall from the sky.
In other news, I got the Civic today. It's really nice. I am a big fan, and I think I got the best deal possible. We were able to swing a deal where I only paid $2000 down and only pay $309 per month - not bad at all. Of course it's 66 months, but that's okay. A good deal. I will miss the Cobalt, no doubt, but I think it was the right thing to part while still friends, and before he left me, screaming and angry, on the side of the road, his engine stubbornly refusing to turn over. No amount of OnStar will help me get through that. Speaking of which, I need to cancel that. Hm.
Anyway, I also have a massive headache, which has actually subsided since I began writing. How therapeutic. I am starting to think I need to see a holistic doctor to see if he/she can solve my headaches. Having a headache every day is getting kind of ridiculous.
I got my book in the mail today - Understanding Technology Management or something. It looks pretty ok based on first impressions. Not as scary looking as the last one. I'm pretty excited to see what the readings will be. I think I can actually log into the class now, but I doubt that anything of substance will be available.
I guess that's about it. I'm going to sleep super early tonight (as soon as I finish writing) so that I can get up at 5:45 and be into work super early. I want to leave early so that I can hang out with Katie and maybe go for a spin to get used to the new wheeeeels :)
Anyway, say a little prayer for one of the following:
A. No Snow!
B. That the Civic will do ok in bad wintery weather!
