Ok so here is my current conundrum:
My current vehicle (05 cobalt LT) has a leaky aspirator (roof fixture) and has been in the shop 3 times.
There is a almost-new, good condition 2006 honda civic EX waiting for me at the dealership if I choose to take it.
Things to Consider:
- I'd have to pay more for the civic - either a large down payment or $40-60 more per month than I am paying now. My interest rate would also go up 1%
- I wasn't 100% comfortable driving the civic, which could be due to several different factors. I plan to drive it again, and to have my dad and a car person drive it to see if it's just my imagination.
- I really do like my car besides the leaky roof.
- The leaky roof has gotten me into trouble at work and cost me time, money, and caused a fair amount of stress.
- The guy I'm dealing with thinks he may know what the problem is with my leaky roof.
- The civic is great, but I'm not sure it's what I really WANT. I don't know what I WANT.
- The civic will hold its value longer than my cobalt.
- My cobalt has upgraded sound and leather seats with seat warmers - the civic does not.
- The civic has a great looking interior, but the cobalt isn't bad looking by any means.
What do you think I should do? PLEASE leave comments... I really need advice.
