I would be remiss not to document this.

So today was pretty much awful. Let's make a quick outline.
1. Woke up feeling unrested, but generally happy to start the day and go into work
2. Got ready and dressed and was ready to head out at 9am.
3. Couldn't find the keys in my purse
4. Recalled that last night Katie had to let me in, and that she won't be home til Thursday
5. Panic
6. Search the rest of the apartment frantically
7. Realize that maybe I left the keys at Sport Chevrolet service center
8. Call Sport Chevrolet service center - no keys found
9. Panic
10. Call rental office - leave frantic potentially rambling message about losing keys
11. Get online and talk to coworkers to see about working from home - no response
12. Get angry about rental office not calling back and sneak out the back door to go up there personally
13. Ask rental lady for a spare and copy
14. Give her rental car keys as collateral
15. Get spare key and go back to the apartment and lock up
16. Return to rental office, get my car key back
17. Walk back to car
18. Hear "Low Fuel" alarm in rental car
19. Sigh and start driving
20. Put $5 of gas in rental
21. Arrive at work around 10
22. Realize I left my badge at home on the table
23. Curse audibly
24. Get loaner badge from front desk and get spare key for my cubicle
25. Finally start working
26. Have a mildly productive morning
27. Be reprimanded by boss for being late and whatnot
28. Have a good afternoon
29. Receive calls that car is done and keys have been copied
30. Leave work to go get the keys at 5:30
31. Leave rental office to go drop off the rental and get my car back
32. Arrive at Sport Chevrolet at 6:20, after trying to waste as much of the $5 of gas as possible
33. Pick up vehicle and receive briefing from the service guy - they did tests but couldn't find a leak
34. Sit in vehicle and adjust seat - wonder what is stuck under the seat to cause it to be jammed as it is
35. Drive to gas station across from work and fill up
36. Look under seat and realize it's my digital camera under the seat
37. Spend a good 10-15 minutes trying to get the camera out, scraping up my hands in the process
38. Finally get camera out, feel sense of relief and laugh to myself
39. Drive to grocery store to buy a nice dinner to cheer myself up
40. Buy ravioli and sauce, some crab dip, crackers, and various other items, including tissues
41. Drive back to apartment
42. Put key in door - attempt to turn key - fail.
43. Put second key in door - attempt to turn key - fail.
44. Drop jaw, while simultaneously realizing that the rental office closed 30 minutes ago
45. Sit down in the hall and start to cry
46. Call boyfriend, parents, roommate
47. Roommate suggests trying her bedroom door with the key
48. Put key in door - attempt to turn key - succeed!
49. Say "THANK GOD!"
50. Plug in almost-dead cell phone
51. Refuse to cook anything, for fear of burning food or apartment complex
52. Sit on couch and eat crab dip
53. Be thankful for the tissues
54. Suffer from awful headache
55. Start to write blog
56. Panic and copy existing blog into Word Doc so that livejournal doesn't somehow fuck it up and lose all my writing
57. Finish blog

What a shitty shitty day.

Oh and... starting at about, oh, number 7, I've had a splitting headache too.

I think it's time to go to sleep. Tomorrow MUST be better.
